We caught up with a few players who entered after the first break and before registration closed. Some tough competition with AJ Kelsall, TK Miles, Shane Melert, and Jake Ferro making it a little hard to get into the money.

Ferro, the former WPT Player of the Year, is having a nice day so far and sits with 204,000.

John Casaubon

Players returned to their PLO seats after the break and we found two big stacks in early action. John Casaubon leads the field with 94,500 and Julio Delgado sits in second with 90,700.

Alex Ivan

The $400 PLO tournament is turning out a great group of players, with 81 in the game before the first break. Due to the nature of that game, we will see some re-entries along the way.

We have a pair of Alex(ander) in the field early. Alexander Orlov made a big splash last spring when he finished sixth in the Tampa Poker Classic Championship for $41,800 and Alex Ivan owns a Tampa guitar trophy with a win during the Fall DeepStack Poker Series in 2016.

Players returned to their seats after the break and everyone is chasing Glen Joseph for top stack in the room. There were several stack hovering just under triple digits but Joseph is over that mark with 107,100 from his 30K starting stack.

Joseph picked up a nice $3K payday a few weeks ago when he finished second in our $180 Triple Stack.

They will return from break and march down to the final table and our first champion of the series.
